Pitstop, fastest card game on two decks,
hits store shelves.

Powder Springs, GA May 10, 2003

Game publisher White Holland Corporation announced today that its auto-racing themed card game, Pitstop, has rolled out of production onto store shelves.
The game appeals to kids, grownups and just about anybody with five minutes on their hands, but that’s not the only reason it’s billed as the “fastest card game on two decks”. It’s also sure to vanish from store shelves as fast as it plays.

The catchy moniker comes from the way the game plays. The rules are based on the simple idea that players race each other to complete a run of numbered “lap” cards and then try to be the first to play the checkered flag card to win the game. But there’s a catch: Pitstop cards also lurk in the deck and they can ruin any dreams of a quick win.
A game of Pitstop can be fast and furious because players are allowed to play all the cards in their hand in one turn if they can, and Lady Luck, in the form of prized wild cards, can make or break a racing career in a hurry.
One of the best things about Pitstop is that it can take as much or as little time to play as you want. From 5 minutes for one game to all day for a Pitstop tournament. Race Season rules are included for a 10-race, 20-race or whatever-race competition. Want to keep the kids out of your hair for a day or two? No problem. Want to grab a quick game before dinner? Pitstop is perfect for that, too.
But be careful. Pitstop can be addicting.
From 2 to 6 players can play Pitstop and it’s fun for players 7 and up. The game consists of 108 unique, racing-themed plastic-coated playing cards, divided into two decks. Rules in English and Spanish are included in the box. Printable rules and Official Pitstop Score Sheets are available for free download from the White Holland web site at www.whiteholland.com.

Pitstop is the first card game produced by White Holland Corporation, which is located outside Atlanta, GA. White Holland expects to apply it’s unique talents in design, manufacturing, marketing and game-play dynamics to the game market in the coming years, and several more games are planned for the near future.
